KLM and Transavia announce Innsbruck-Amsterdam codeshare

KLM and its subsidiary Transavia have announced a new codeshare agreement connecting Innsbruck, Austria, to Amsterdam Schiphol Airport, effective October 31, 2026. Under the agreement, Transavia will operate flights between Innsbruck and Amsterdam with a frequency of up to four times daily during the winter 2026/27 season.

The codeshare arrangement allows passengers from the Alpine region to access KLM and Air France-KLM alliance networks through a single booking. This provides streamlined connections and through-checked baggage for travelers heading to international destinations via Amsterdam, including major cities such as New York-JFK, Mexico City, and Singapore, as well as destinations like Sint Maarten.

The expansion aims to provide travelers in western Austria and neighboring border regions with an alternative to existing hubs in Frankfurt, Vienna, or Zurich. The integration into global booking systems is expected to benefit regional tourism and business travel by making the route more accessible to international tour operators.
