Kölner Treff celebrates 50th anniversary on WDR

The WDR talk show ‘Kölner Treff’ is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The program, which has been broadcast by WDR since January 1976, features a mix of celebrities and everyday people sharing their experiences.

The show’s origins trace back to 1973, when Alfred Biolek launched the discussion round ‘Wer kommt, kommt’ at the Cologne ‘Senftöpfchen’. Since then, the program has been hosted by various figures, including Dieter Thoma, Elke Heidenreich, and Bettina Böttinger. Since 2017, the moderation team has consisted of Susan Link and Micky Beisenherz.
