Kölner Treff celebrates 50th anniversary with special programming

The WDR talk show ‘Kölner Treff’ is celebrating its 50th anniversary. To mark the milestone, the broadcaster will air a special anniversary talk titled ‘50 Jahre Kölner Treff - die große Jubiläumsausgabe’ followed by a documentary.

Moderator Susan Link, who has been part of the program since 2017 and has served as a regular host alongside Micky Beisenherz since 2023, discussed the enduring appeal of human-centric talk shows. The program, originally conceived by Alfred Biolek, was notable for being the first talk show to feature regular citizens alongside celebrities with a specific regional focus on North Rhine-Westphalia.
