KLPGA Tour hosts major championships in South Korea

Two major KLPGA Tour championships are scheduled to take place in South Korea, both featuring total prize pools of 1.5 billion won.

The Hana Financial Group Championship will be held from the 17th to the 20th at The Heaven Country Club in Ansan. The tournament features a high-profile field, including LPGA stars Lydia Ko and Inbee Park, as well as the Iwai twins. Defending champion Lee Da-yeon will seek her third title at the event. The tournament has moved to the Ansan location for the first time this year.

Separately, the KB Financial Golden Life Championship, formerly known as the KB Financial Star Championship, will take place from the 10th to the 13th at Blackstone Golf Club in Icheon. This major tournament aims to serve as a family-oriented festival, offering retirement planning services, kids' zones, and community support programs. The event includes charitable initiatives such as donations to youth preparing for independence and food support for multicultural families.
