Kölsche Koks seeks 600,000 euros on Die Höhle der Löwen

Founders Nicolas Lutz and Maximilian Koeser presented their company, Kölsche Koks, on the German television show ‘Die Höhle der Löwen’. The startup offers a ready-to-drink Espresso Martini liqueur made with Arabica coffee and 15 percent alcohol. The product is designed to simplify cocktail preparation for bars, clubs, festivals, and home use, eliminating the need for fresh espresso and manual shaking.

The company offers two formats: a 0.7-liter bottle for professional and home use, and a 16-pack of 0.02-liter shots for events and portability. The product is vegan and gluten-free. Having already achieved over one million euros in revenue, the founders are seeking 600,000 euros in exchange for a 10 percent stake, valuing the company at six million euros.

Lutz and Koeser, who also operate three gastronomy businesses and the beer brand Zappes in Cologne, aim to expand the brand beyond their local market to reach customers across Germany and Austria.
