km5 announces Sp1 speaker and Mp1 wireless mixer

Japanese audio brand km5 has revealed two new additions to its compact music ecosystem: the Sp1 Bluetooth speaker and the Mp1 wireless mixer. Both products feature a minimalist, flat, frame-like design intended to complement the company’s existing Cp1 CD player.

The Sp1 speaker includes two 45mm full-range drivers, two passive radiators, and a dot-matrix display for playback information. It supports Bluetooth, microSD playback, and FM radio, with a battery life of approximately 12 hours. Users can pair two units for stereo sound or mount the device on a wall.

The Mp1 wireless mixer allows users to blend two Bluetooth sources using level sliders and a crossfader. It features three-band EQ, filters, and a loop function for experimentation. The mixer has an estimated battery life of six hours and includes line input and output connections.

Preorders are scheduled to begin on km5’s official store on 16 November 2026, with shipping planned for February 2027. Pricing has not yet been announced.
