Kâmil Koç expands Edirne operations to boost European bus transit
As part of its 100th anniversary, the Turkish transportation company Kâmil Koç is expanding its presence in Edirne to strengthen its role as a hub for European transit. The company, which operates in 77 provinces across Turkey, aims to utilize Edirne’s strategic location as a border city to facilitate road travel between Turkey and Europe.
Through a partnership with global mobility provider Flix, Kâmil Koç offers direct bus connections to several European destinations. These routes include Sofia, Plovdiv, and Varna in Bulgaria, as well as Bucharest and Constanta in Romania. The expansion in Edirne is intended to provide a comfortable and economic land alternative to air travel for passengers crossing the border.
