Knesebeck: Firefighters battle blaze in residential building annex

A fire broke out at a residential building in Knesebeck on a Friday evening. The blaze originated in a wooden annex immediately adjacent to the house, posing a threat to the building's roof structure.

Emergency responders from Knesebeck, Hagen-Mahnburg, Vorhop, and Wittingen deployed 71 personnel to the scene. Firefighters used two C-pipes to prevent the fire from spreading to the roof and utilized thermal imaging cameras to check for remaining hotspots. No injuries were reported, and the operation concluded around 0:15 AM.
