New York Knicks bolster roster with veteran signings

The New York Knicks are actively reshaping their roster following their 2026 NBA Championship. The team has signed veteran wing John Konchar to a one-year deal and recently secured veteran guard Bruce Brown on a training camp contract.

Konchar, recently released by the Minnesota Timberwolves, has drawn interest from several Eastern Conference teams, including the Miami Heat, Orlando Magic, and Toronto Raptors, due to his defensive versatility and ability to play multiple positions.

In addition to these signings, the Knicks are managing roster depth and financial constraints. Reports suggest the front office may consider trading Miles McBride to acquire a high-impact center, such as Moussa Diabaté or Yves Missi, as the team seeks to remain under the second luxury tax apron while defending their title.
