Knife Attack on Ex-Wife Thwarted by Bakery Patrons in Palmeira D’Oeste, Brazil

A man armed with a knife chased his ex‑wife into a bakery in Palmeira D’Oeste, São Paulo, after she fled the parking lot. As he attempted to strike her, customers and staff seized chairs and restrained the attacker, preventing further violence. Police arrived, arrested the man and placed him in pre‑trial detention. The incident was classified as domestic violence, minor threats and personal injury.
