Knife attacks in Brazil injure women in Concórdia and Penedo

In the interior of Concórdia, a woman was seriously wounded after her ex‑partner attacked her with a knife. Police located the suspect dead in a nearby forest shortly after the assault. The victim remains in critical condition at Hospital São Francisco.

In Penedo, a woman suffered a deep neck wound when she was stabbed with a fish‑blade knife inside a bar. She was treated on site, then transferred to a hospital in Arapiraca for specialized care. Police arrested a female suspect at the scene, who cooperated and was taken to the local depot.
