Knife attacks wound victims in Hong Kong and New York City

In Hong Kong, a 36‑year‑old Filipino man was arrested after stabbing a 52‑year‑old homeowner with a kitchen knife at a flat in Tsing Yi, leaving the victim with multiple head injuries. Police say the suspect entered the residence looking for his wife, who works there as a domestic helper, and attacked during an argument before fleeing and being caught in a nearby park.

In New York City, a 44‑year‑old man was stabbed in the back on the stairs leading to the Sutter Avenue‑Rutland Road subway station in Brooklyn. The assailant, described as wearing jeans and work boots, attacked the victim without provocation and remains at large. The victim was taken to Brookdale University Hospital in stable condition.
