Knife murder of unidentified man in Campo Grande, Brazil

Police in Campo Grande, Brazil, discovered the body of an unidentified man, estimated to be about 30 years old, on a vacant lot in the Jardim das Macaúbas neighborhood on the morning of 15 May. The victim had suffered approximately ten stab wounds, consistent with knife attacks.

The incident was reported after a resident heard a fight near the Municipal School Plínio Barbosa Martins around 4:30 a.m. and called the Military Police. Officers arrived to find the victim unconscious and later confirmed he was dead. The area was secured for forensic work, and investigators collected items such as a pair of shoes, a sweatshirt and a denim short near the body. No weapon was recovered and there are no identified witnesses.

A Yamaha Fazer motorcycle was found abandoned nearby, but police have not linked it to the homicide. The case has been classified as a qualified homicide and remains under investigation by the Civil Police.
