Balkan police conduct multiple operations involving arrests and weapon seizures
Law enforcement agencies across the Balkans have conducted a series of operations resulting in multiple arrests for violent crimes, drug trafficking, and illegal weapons possession.
In Kosovo, Rami Kuçi was arrested during a narcotics operation; he is an international fugitive wanted for a murder committed in Skopje. Additionally, police in Gjilan seized an arsenal including six rifles and six pistols.
In Montenegro, several incidents were reported, including the arrest of a man in Herceg Novi for domestic violence, leading to the seizure of 10 firearms and 251 rounds of ammunition. In Podgorica, a 31-year-old man was detained for a shooting incident involving a pistol.
In Albania, SPAK arrested a 41-year-old man in Shkodër for organized drug trafficking, while in Tirana, police investigated a shooting in the ‘Zogu i Zi’ area that led to the arrest of a 20-year-old.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, police in Široki Brijeg are searching for suspects following a brutal attack on a police officer, which authorities have classified as attempted murder.
