Knocked Loose donates $8,000 to fan paralyzed at Louder Than Life

The metal band Knocked Loose has donated $8,000 to a GoFundMe campaign for Jamie Ulshoffer, a festival attendee who was paralyzed from the waist down during the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville.

The accident occurred on September 18 during the band’s performance. According to reports, a festivalgoer climbed a tree located behind the tented stage area and fell onto Ulshoffer, resulting in a severed spinal cord. Ulshoffer was transported to UofL Hospital for treatment.

While the band has not issued a public statement regarding the donation, they have emerged as the largest contributor to the fundraiser. The GoFundMe, established by Ulshoffer’s niece to assist with medical expenses, has raised over $29,000 toward its $40,000 goal.
