The Knokke-Heist municipal council is set to address several key dossiers during its meeting on August 27. A primary item on the agenda is the proposed acquisition of real estate at Kursaalstraat 55 and 55b, which serves as the site for the Visserijschool and ’t Kasteeltje.

Other significant topics include an addendum to the cooperation agreement for the Ironman event and a temporary police regulation regarding the Zoute Grand Prix 2026. Additionally, the council will consider a co-financing agreement for the DataWISE technological project and review decisions from the Agency for Internal Administration regarding second-home taxes and a footpath complaint.

The meeting will also address matters concerning the waste station at Oosthoekplein, following an interpellation by council member Six.
