Knokke-Heist relocates urban development services to Hoost

The Urban Development department in Knokke-Heist has relocated to the Hoost building in Heist. As of October 12, residents seeking permits or information regarding urban planning, climate, environment, nature, public domain, spatial planning, and entrepreneurship or beach services must visit the new location at Maes- and Boereboomplein by appointment.

Mayor Cathy Coudyser has also moved her office to Hoost. She holds office hours for urban planning dossiers every Wednesday from 10:00 to 12:30, strictly by appointment. For other matters, she is available on the third Thursday of each month from 14:00 to 16:00 at the town hall, also by appointment.

Additional changes include a trial library branch in Heist starting November 3 at Hoost and the official opening of the De Wip games library in late November. Parking is prohibited on the renovated Maes- and Boereboomplein, but visitors can use the underground parking at Hoost, where the first thirty minutes are free.
