Knot and Venmo partner to streamline merchant payments

Knot, a merchant connectivity platform, has announced a partnership with Venmo to allow users to easily set Venmo as a saved payment method at various merchants. Through this collaboration, users can add Venmo as a preferred payment option directly from the Venmo app with a few taps, eliminating the need to manually enter details at every individual site.

Depending on the specific merchant, users can either link their Venmo account to ‘Pay with Venmo’ at checkout or save their Venmo Debit Card. This marks the first time Knot has provisioned a proprietary checkout solution as a default payment option, extending its card-on-file capabilities to a native wallet. The partnership aims to increase Venmo's everyday usage and engagement while helping merchants reduce failed payments and involuntary churn.
