Knowledge Channel launches environmental education series ‘Enna You Know!’
Knowledge Channel Foundation Inc. (KCFI) has launched a new four-episode educational series titled ‘Enna You Know!’ to teach students about environmental sustainability and climate action. Premiering September 16 on DepEd TV, the series is designed for Grade 9 and 10 students.
The program follows a teenager named Enna and her brother Geo, an environmental scientist, as they explore practical solutions to environmental issues such as energy conservation and excessive water usage. The series is part of ‘Project Shaping Energy,’ an initiative aimed at promoting energy literacy in public high schools.
Developed in collaboration with the Department of Education (DepEd), Schneider Electric Foundation, Schneider Electric Philippines, and Makesense Asia, the project includes the distribution of educational materials to science teachers. KCFI Vice President Edric Calma noted that such investments in video lessons provide sustainable ways for students to learn science and develop environmental concern.
