The 65th annual Knoxville Nationals is scheduled to take place at Knoxville Raceway in Iowa from August 12-15, 2026. The event features the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series and offers a $200,000 prize to the champion.

Driver Donny Schatz is seeking to equal the record of 12 Knoxville National titles held by Steve Kinser. Schatz currently holds 11 titles.

NASCAR Cup Series champion Kyle Larson faces a scheduling conflict between the Knoxville Nationals finale on Saturday, August 15, and the Cook Out 400 at Richmond Raceway. Unless weather causes a delay at either venue, Larson will be unable to compete in both events, potentially requiring a replacement driver for his sprint car team in the Knoxville championship feature.
