Knutsford and Tameside host Halloween community events

Various community Halloween events are scheduled across Knutsford and Tameside for the October half-term.

In Knutsford, the Pumpkin Path returns on October 30. Organized by the Knutsford Town Council, the event features 13 hidden pumpkins located in local shops. Participants can follow a map to find letters that spell ‘Trick or Treats’ for a chance to win prizes, including tickets to Tatton Park. The event includes live performances, character appearances, and a revamped spooky area in Wallwood. Certain road closures, such as King Street, will be in place for safety.

Tameside is hosting a range of activities including spooky storytelling, pumpkin decorating, and craft workshops. Highlights include ‘Super Spooky Saturday’ at Fletcher Square, a Halloween-themed Ashton Artisan Market on October 30, and themed sessions at the Portland Basin Museum. Local libraries will also offer haunted house crafts and film screenings, while Werneth Low Country Park will host outdoor family activities.
