KNVB publishes amateur football schedule with multiple Zaan region derbies

The Royal Dutch Football Association (KNVB) released the match programme for the upcoming amateur season. In the 3e Klasse B, six of the fourteen clubs are from the Zaan region, creating a series of local derbies throughout the campaign. Other divisions also feature Zaan clashes, with clubs such as SVA, KFC and WSV’30 set to face regional rivals.

In the first qualifying round of the KNVB Cup, three Frisian clubs learned their opponents. Harkemase Boys will host Excelsior'31, FC Surhústerfean travels to DOVO, and LAC Frisia visits HZVV. The cup matches are scheduled for 1–2 September, with winners advancing to the second qualifying round ahead of the main tournament in late October.
