Koç Holding leaders engage in energy and diplomacy in New York

During the COP31 Business Forum New York Dialogue, Ali Koç, Vice Chairman of Koç Holding, emphasized the necessity of accelerating renewable energy investments to ensure Turkey's energy security and competitiveness. He noted that reliance on imported fuels directly impacts inflation and business costs, arguing that energy security and climate policies must be addressed simultaneously. Koç also highlighted the importance of developing energy storage capacity alongside production.

In a separate recognition at the ‘100 Years of Friendship: Turkey-USA Gala’ in New York, Koç Holding Honorary Chairman Rahmi Koç and Ford Motor Company Executive Chairman Bill Ford received honorary awards. The event, organized by the US Chamber of Commerce and the US-Turkey Business Council, celebrated the long-standing economic and cultural ties between Turkey and the United States. Rahmi Koç remarked on the strategic importance of strengthening Turkish-American relations, citing the 98-year partnership between the Koç Group and Ford Motor Company as a primary example of this enduring bond.
