Ko Shu-yuan discusses filming ‘Lou Shang Lou Xia’

Actor Ko Shu-yuan recently shared insights regarding his experience filming the CTS light comedy series ‘Lou Shang Lou Xia’. He highlighted a particularly memorable scene involving a four-minute monologue directed at a Shiba Inu named Laifu. Ko noted that while acting with animals can be challenging due to the nature of solo scenes, the canine actor was exceptionally cooperative, allowing the scene to be completed in a single take without any errors.

In the series, Ko portrays a character facing both professional setbacks at a convenience store and emotional complications regarding a former lover. Ko also discussed the parallels between his character’s parenting style and his own, noting that while he avoids being overly restrictive, he shares a sense of protective care for children. The drama, which features a cast including Yan Xiao-yun and Lung Yu-shen, airs Monday through Friday on the CTS channel.
