Öko-Test evaluates drugstore concealers

A recent evaluation by Öko-Test has identified high-performing, affordable concealer options that outperform major established brands. According to the testing results, the Terra Naturi Concealer with Hyaluron (shade 01 Light), available at Müller, received a ‘very good’ rating. The product is noted for being free of controversial ingredients, problematic preservatives, musk scents, and critical UV filters, costing approximately 2.16 Euro per 5 ml.

In contrast, conventional products from major brands such as L’Oréal and Max Factor received ‘insufficient’ ratings in the laboratory tests. While some users report positive personal experiences with products like the L’Oréal Paris True Match Radiant Serum Concealer—which features hyaluronic acid and caffeine—the official Öko-Test findings highlight the superior safety and value of certified natural cosmetics.
