Öko-Test evaluates facial creams for skin nourishment
Öko-Test has conducted a review of 32 rich facial creams, ranging from drugstore and supermarket brands to pharmacy products. The study focused on creams designed to provide a protective film and support the skin barrier during cold seasons or exposure to heating air.
Twelve products received the highest rating of ‘very good’. Notable top performers include Lidl’s Cien ‘Tagespflege reichhaltig’ priced at 1.65 euros, dm’s Alverde ‘Reichhaltige Tagescreme Bio-Wildrose’, and Nivea’s ‘Tagespflege reichhaltig’. The results indicate that affordable products under five euros performed well, whereas several more expensive creams costing over 20 euros received lower ratings.
