KO1KEYZ debuts in Japan and Korea with number one Oricon single

KO1KEYZ, a 12-member global boy group formed through the survival audition program ‘PRODUCE 101 JAPAN SHINSEKAI’, has officially debuted in both Japan and South Korea. The group released their debut single, ‘KO1KEYZ’, on October 7, which subsequently reached number one on the Oricon Daily Single Ranking for October 6.

The group consists of ten Japanese members and two Korean members: SIYOUNG and SHINHAENG. Their debut single features a variety of tracks, including the title song ‘KO1KEYZ’, which draws inspiration from 1990s lyrical sensibilities, as well as ‘Koi GAME’, ‘Key of Story’, and versions of songs performed during the audition program.

To celebrate the launch, the group held a 51-minute live stream for fans. They are currently conducting their first fan meeting tour, with scheduled stops in Tokyo, Hyogo, and Seoul. The group’s music video has already surpassed 7.13 million views.
