Koalicja Obywatelska dissolves Krakow regional board
The national board of the Koalicja Obywatelska (KO) party has dissolved its Krakow regional structures, resulting in the removal of the local board and its chairman, Szczęsny Filipiak.
Following the decision made during a meeting in Warsaw on August 28, Piotr Moskała has been appointed as the regional commissioner. Moskała, a city councilor and campaign manager for mayoral candidate Monika Piątkowska, is tasked with managing the local organization and organizing early elections to select a new board.
Party representatives stated that the decision to replace the board was not due to a failure on Filipiak's part, but rather a need to reorganize the local structure and stimulate productivity. Moskała will hold his position until the new leadership is officially elected.
