KOAS México wins six medals at international kickboxing tournament in Bogotá

The KOAS México martial arts delegation achieved significant success at the Liga Andina International Tournament held in Bogotá, Colombia. Representing the KOAS SAMOA academy under the leadership of Master Jonathan Morado, four young athletes competed in various disciplines, including Kick Boxing, Light Contact, Full Contact, and Formas.

The Mexican team secured a total of six medals: five gold and one silver. Individual medalists included Gabriel Carbajal, who earned two gold medals; Isaí Morado, with one gold and one silver; Liam Ortiz, with one gold; and Javier Carbajal, with one gold.

In addition to the competitive results, Master Alejandro Ramírez served as an international judge and referee, officiating more than 20 bouts involving athletes from Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, and Ecuador. For his contributions, Ramírez received special recognition from Héctor Gómez, president of the Liga Andina.
