Kobe Fashion Plaza to host mobile aquarium event

A mobile aquarium event titled ‘Asoberu Suizokukan’ is scheduled to take place at the Kobe Fashion Plaza in Higashinada-ku, Kobe, on October 3 and 4, 2026. Organized by Mizumizuland, the event offers interactive experiences where visitors can touch various marine life, including sharks, crabs, and stingrays.

A highlight of the event is the ‘Aquarium Keeper Experience,’ which requires advance reservation via the Mizumizuland app. In this program, participants can create their own tide pools using hermit crabs and sea anemones, learn about marine biology, and create educational display panels.

In addition to the keeper experience, the venue will feature workshops and activities such as searching for undersea treasures and shell pulling. While the workshop zone does not require an admission fee, individual booths charge separate fees, and general admission to the aquarium area is 800 yen per person.
