Kobe hosts various arts and music festivals

Kobe is hosting a series of diverse arts and music events across various locations. At the Shinkaichi Art Hiroba, the ‘Fushigi Entertainment SHINKAICHI’ performance is scheduled for August 22. This participatory event features artists such as the performance company to R mansion, Junbei Edogawa, and the Mitamura Kanda-dan ensemble, offering an immersive experience where audiences can sit on cushions or lie on yoga mats.

In the Harborland area, the ‘KOBE Machinaka Performance’ will feature registered artists at the Space Theater on August 20. The lineup includes singer-songwriter Peco and the vocal group STAYG, as part of a city-sanctioned initiative to provide opportunities for local musicians and performers.

Additionally, the Greenroom Festival, which focuses on ocean conservation through music and art, has announced it will expand its 2027 schedule. The festival is set to take place over two days on May 29 and 30, 2027, at both Yokohama and Meriken Park in Kobe.
