Kobe hotels host 23rd annual charity culinary festival

Six major hotels in Kobe are hosting the 23rd annual ‘Kobe 6 Hotels Food Journey Charity Lunch 2026’ from September 1 to October 31, 2026. The event, themed ‘Hyogo Terroir,’ features seasonal ingredients from the Hyogo region, including seafood and mountain produce, prepared by top chefs in various styles such as French, Chinese, and Italian.

Participating hotels include ANA Crowne Plaza Hotel Kobe, Kobe Bay Sheraton Hotel & Towers, Kobe Portopia Hotel, Kobe Meriken Park Oriental Hotel, Hotel Okura Kobe, and Hotel Monterey Kobe. The initiative aims to support local revitalization and social causes; 300 yen from each lunch is donated to the ‘Child Chemo Support Fund’ and the ‘Japan Clowns Association.’ Since its inception in 2002, the collaborative efforts of these hotels have raised over 24 million yen for charity.
