Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens to host autumn and Christmas illumination

Kobe Nunobiki Herb Gardens will host a large-scale autumn foliage illumination event starting November 7, 2026, in conjunction with the ‘Kobe Christmas Market 2026 - Christmas of the Old Castle’.

The event features an expanded ‘Corridor of Light,’ a path approximately 220 meters long that connects the forest Christmas tree area to the glass house. This corridor will showcase a combination of illuminated autumn leaves and Christmas decorations, accompanied by background music.

The illumination area has been increased from 150 meters in 2025 to 220 meters this year. Key lighting spots include the Fragrant Garden, the Corridor of Light, and The Veranda Kobe Emerald Lounge. The event is scheduled to run until December 28, 2026.
