Kobe Storks unveils renovated training facility ‘Hata Dojo’

The professional basketball club Kobe Storks has announced the completion of its renovated team training room, now named ‘Hata Dojo’. The facility was upgraded with the support of Elecom Co., Ltd., a platinum partner of the club.

Junji Hata, Chairman of Elecom Co., Ltd., acquired the naming rights for the facility. The renovation includes significant upgrades to the training environment, such as custom-made adjustable benches in team colors and power racks tailored to the players' physiques. The goal of the upgrade is to provide an optimal environment for players to improve performance and prevent injuries as the team prepares for the transition to the B.Premier league.

Kobe Storks President Jun Shibuya noted that the high-quality facility is crucial for maintaining player conditioning in a more intense league. Chairman Hata expressed his desire to contribute to the Kobe region, describing it as his ‘second home’.
