Kobe hosts upcoming jazz festival, book events, and arena performances

Kobe is hosting several cultural events in late 2026. The 43rd Kobe Jazz Street will take place on October 10–11, featuring performances across nine venues in the Sannomiya, Kitano, and To Road areas. The festival includes a parade and a pre-event night at the Kobe Marriott Hotel.

On September 27, Kodomo no Mori Kobe will hold a pop-up event at TOTTEI PARK (Midori no Oka Hall). The ‘Tobidase!! Hon no Mori’ series will feature curated book exhibitions and storytelling sessions centered around the theme of food-related ZINEs.

Additionally, the brass band from Kobe International University Junior and Senior High School has been selected to perform at ‘Netsu-to JAM 2026’ at GLION ARENA KOBE. The group will provide opening fanfare and performances on September 22 and 23, marking their first appearance at this scale of music event.
