Kobilić hosts traditional Seoske igre for humanitarian cause

The traditional Seoske igre (Village Games) were held recently in Kobilić, a settlement within Velika Gorica. The event, which has been running for two decades to preserve local customs, featured various traditional competitions including egg-and-spoon races, long jump, sack races, and tug-of-war.

This year’s manifestation carried a humanitarian focus. In collaboration with the association ‘Veliko srce malom srcu’, organizers collected donations to purchase a portable EKG device to support children with heart defects. The initiative was inspired by the personal story of local resident Jakov Vukadin. The event was supported by the Mayor of Velika Gorica, Krešimir Ačkar.
