Koblenz Medical‑Legal Training Highlights Ethical Decision‑Making

A two‑hour professional session was held on 12 March 2026 in Koblenz, Germany, inviting around 50 participants from dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy and other health professions. Dr Welf Kienle, a specialist in medical and criminal law, presented practical examples of legal risks faced by clinicians and guided a discussion on documenting decisions to avoid future liability.

Attendees emphasized the relevance of the material to everyday high‑stress situations, exchanged experiences in small groups, and explored how to apply the guidance in their own workplaces.

The event was organized by the regional group of the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Medizinrecht und Patientenrechte (DGWMP).
