Kocaeli launches 41G transit line to improve southern axis transport

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has launched the 41G transit line to improve public transportation along the city's southern axis. The service officially began on Monday, September 7, following its introduction on September 4.

The new system integrates cooperative vehicles and UlaşımPark buses into a single, coordinated schedule. This unified approach aims to resolve previous issues regarding passenger boarding and exiting, while also reducing waiting times and increasing trip frequency.

Traveling the Karamürsel-İzmit route, passengers now have expanded access, with the ability to board or exit in Gölcük, Değirmendere, Ulaşlı, and Halıdere. The initiative is designed to enhance comfort, speed, and safety for daily commuters.
