Meram and Kocaeli municipalities expand social and religious infrastructure

Meram Municipality in Konya is expanding its social services fleet. By adding two new condolence buses manufactured at the municipality’s own Arif Bilge Facilities, the total number of condolence vehicles has reached 10. The municipality’s social service fleet now includes a total of 15 vehicles, comprising 10 condolence buses, one disabled transport vehicle, one funeral washing vehicle, two tent transport vehicles, and one home cleaning vehicle. Mayor Mustafa Kavuş stated that the municipality aims to support citizens through all stages of life.

In Kocaeli, the Metropolitan Municipality is supporting various infrastructure and religious projects. In Başiskele, the municipality is providing construction materials, including 80 tons of iron and 6,000 units of gas concrete, for the Gazze Şehitleri Mosque. Additionally, construction is progressing on a large-scale mosque project within the Gebze Millet Bahçesi. This project features a 47,000 square meter construction area, a 625-vehicle indoor parking lot, and modern architectural designs intended to meet the spiritual and social needs of the local community.
