Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality launches KÜDEP to support local authors

The Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality has launched the Kocaeli Local Authors Support Program (KÜDEP) to bolster the city's cultural and literary life. The initiative aims to support the production of local writers and help high-quality works reach wider audiences.

Under the program, authors living in Kocaeli who produce works in the fields of culture, art, and literature can submit their work for evaluation. Selected works will receive support for publication. The program is expected to last approximately one year, aiming to strengthen the city's literary memory and expand the reach of local authors.
