Kocaeli Municipality expands medicinal plant production via Ormanya brand

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is enhancing the economic value of local agricultural production by processing medicinal and aromatic plants through its Ormanya brand. Operated under the municipality's subsidiary, Sekapark A. Ş., the initiative transforms raw materials harvested by local farmers into high-value products.

Using modern production techniques such as distillation, cold pressing, and supercritical CO₂ extraction, the facility produces a wide range of goods. The product lineup includes essential and cold-pressed vegetable oils, herbal teas, hydrosols, extracts, traditional sweets, natural cosmetics, personal care items, and dietary supplements.

To ensure quality and standardization, all production stages are monitored by laboratory, R&D, and quality control teams. These products are distributed to consumers across Turkey, with availability through Sekapark A. Ş.’s e-commerce platform and other digital sales channels.
