Kocaeli Municipality Launches Summer Family and Sports Programs

Kocaeli Büyükşehir Belediyesi organized the "Çık Dışarıya Oynayalım" series at Başiskele Millet Bahçesi and Kartepe Meşelik Parkı, offering workshops such as stone painting, bag and kite making, traditional street games, a horse‑riding experience for children aged 4‑10, and an open‑air cinema showing the animated film Rafadan Tayfa: Göbeklitepe.

The municipality also hosted a beach‑volleyball tournament on Kumcağız Beach under the "Herkes İçin Spor" initiative, featuring 60 men's and 28 women's two‑person teams in a single‑set elimination format, with cups, medals and other awards presented to the winners.
