Kocaeli suspect arrested for 300,000 lira repair scam

A suspect has been arrested in Kocaeli for allegedly defrauding 12 individuals of 300,000 Turkish Lira. The suspect, identified as U. T., reportedly used the pretext of repairing white goods and combi boilers to obtain the funds.

The Kocaeli Provincial Police Department conducted investigations across the İzmit, Başiskele, Derince, and Gebze districts. Following detention in Gebze and subsequent legal proceedings, the suspect was remanded in custody by a judge.
