Kocaeli University launches practical law training program

Kocaeli University Faculty of Law has signed a protocol with the Kocaeli Bar Association to implement a new practical training program for senior law students. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between theoretical education and professional practice through workshop-style learning.

Under the 14-week program, 20 selected senior students will work on unresolved real-world legal cases alongside academics and expert lawyers. The workshops are designed to provide students with diverse perspectives, allowing them to observe how legal professionals, including lawyers, judges, and prosecutors, approach evidence, legal strategy, and dispute resolution.

The program was formalized in a ceremony attended by Kocaeli University Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Ömer Faruk Çelik, Faculty of Law Dean Prof. Dr. Memduh Aslan, and Kocaeli Bar Association President Av. Kadir Caner Karakadılar.
