Kocaelispor terminates Habib Ali Keita's contract

Kocaelispor has officially terminated the contract of Malian midfielder Habib Ali Keita for just cause. The club cited the player's repeated and unauthorized absences from pre-season training camps, daily practice sessions, and official matches throughout the season as the primary reasons for the decision.

According to club management, Keita failed to respond to official warnings and legal notices regarding his contractual obligations. Kocaelispor announced that they intend to file a lawsuit with the FIFA Football Tribunal to seek sporting sanctions and financial compensation from any third-party club that signs the player.

Club President Recep Durul criticized the player's actions, describing the unauthorized departure as a lack of judgment. While rumors suggested the player sought to play abroad or left due to personal reasons, the club noted that no official transfer offers had been received at the time of the dispute.
