Kocaelispor defeats Amedspor 2-0 in Süper Lig match

Kocaelispor secured its first victory of the Trendyol Süper Lig season with a 2-0 win against Amedspor at the Turka Kocaeli Stadium. Goals were scored by new transfers Berkan Kutlu in the 16th minute and Matej Maglica in the 87th minute.

Following the match, Kocaelispor manager Selçuk İnan dedicated the win to the fans and noted the strategic decision to field several young players born after 2005. Amedspor manager Besnik Hasi attributed the loss to a poor start in the first 25 minutes and criticized the pitch conditions.

In the aftermath of the game, the Kocaeli Chief Public Prosecutor's Office launched an investigation into five Kocaelispor supporters. The individuals are accused of inciting hatred and making threatening or insulting chants by waving yellow bags toward Amedspor fans during the match.
