Kocasinan mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar drives urban renewal and meets with muhtars

Kocasinan Municipality Mayor Ahmet Çolakbayrakdar held a meeting with the muhtars of the Osmangazi, Ertuğrulgazi, Generalemir and Erkilet neighbourhoods to assess local needs, discuss ongoing works and plan upcoming investments. He emphasized rapid response to citizens’ requests, noting that the city's road, sidewalk and infrastructure projects will accelerate in the summer season.

The mayor also inspected the large‑scale urban transformation site in Erkilet Ertuğrulgazi, where a 30,000 m² green area and accompanying social facilities such as parks, parking and playgrounds are being created. Çolakbayrakdar announced that the redevelopment will be completed within 45 days, underscoring the district’s broader push to modernise every neighbourhood and improve residents’ quality of life.
