Kochi Metro Rail announces 2026 recruitment for senior and HR posts

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL), a joint venture of the Government of India and the Government of Kerala, issued a recruitment notification for five senior positions. The vacancies include a General Manager (Signalling & Telecom), a Chief Engineer (Signalling & Telecom), a Manager (Finance), and two HR posts – Executive (HR) and Assistant Executive (HR).

Applicants must hold a B.E./B.Tech in the relevant engineering discipline for the technical posts, an MBA with an HR specialization for the HR posts, or a CA/CMA/MBA with a finance focus for the finance post. The General Manager and Chief Engineer roles require at least 20 years of post‑qualification experience, including 15 years in an executive or managerial capacity, with former IRSSE officers preferred. All candidates must apply online by 27 August 2026; there is no application fee. Selected officers will be appointed on a regular, deputation or re‑employment basis and will receive salaries according to IDA pay scales ranging from E0 to E8.
