Kościerzyna County launches 5th Amateur Mixed Volleyball League

The Kościerzyna County Starosty is organizing the fifth edition of the County Amateur Mixed Volleyball League for the 2026/2027 season. The competition is designed to promote volleyball, integrate the local community, and encourage active lifestyles among residents.

Matches will be held at the Sokolnia sports hall in Kościerzyna on Sundays. The league is primarily intended for residents of Kościerzyna County, with a requirement that teams consist of at least 75% local residents. Participation is limited to 12 teams, which will be selected on a first-come, first-served basis. The deadline for team registrations is September 17, 2026.

Tournament regulations specify that teams can have a maximum of 15 players. During matches, a minimum of five players must be on the court, including at least two women. Matches are played in a best-of-three sets format, with sets played to 25 points and a tie-break set to 15 points in the event of a 2-2 tie. The entry fee is 950 PLN per team.
