Kościerzyna: 14-year-old struck by car during live TV report
A 14-year-old girl riding an electric scooter was struck by an Audi in Kościerzyna, Poland, during a live television broadcast by TVP Info. The incident occurred while reporter Miłosz Sieliwończyk was reporting on a separate fatal accident in the same area.
The collision was captured on camera as the vehicle turned into a side street, striking the teenager. The impact caused her to hit the windshield and roll across the roof before falling onto the pavement. The driver initially fled the scene but returned several minutes later.
Police investigations revealed that the 21-year-old driver was sober but did not possess a valid driver's license. The recording made by the news crew allowed authorities to identify the vehicle via its license plate. The teenager was taken to the hospital for examination but did not sustain life-threatening injuries.
